Lifetimes Of Equestrian Experience
David and I have both been around horses for most of our lives. He grew up in the Amite area on one of the largest dairy farms, jumping on horses bareback to cross the farm or go to one of their lakes. Arabian breeding was a family focus. I rode horses owned by family and friends then finally bought my first 2 quarter horses at 40 years old. I worked with a large equine rescue agency for almost a decade, rehabbing and revitalizing misused and abused horses. Although I played polo for a short while, and rode in a parade team for 6 years, my riding focus has been on competitive trail, traveling the Gulf Coast region. I'm looking forward to the national upswing in competitive events, and hope to spend a lot more hours in the saddle and on the trail.
Our Goals?
Continue and expand on the wonderful animal feed products and service started by our family in 2011. We plan to keep our farm available for long-term boarding, and short-term layovers for our equine travelers. As as new feature, we will provide medical recuperation boarding for your equine friends who need continual bandaging or wound care post surgery or procedure, which may be more than you are able to handle at home.
With our fantastic lighted arena, we can offer daily use options from 7am to 10pm, and plan to accommodate training as well as special events.
